Diamond: How is the configuration file (.txt) generated by IPExpress being used?
Diamond: When the PCS (Physical Coding Sub-layer) architectural block, or IPs that make use of PCS block, are generated through IPExpress, a configuration file (.txt) is generated at the same time.
The configuration file contains the necessary information to configure the PCS in the device. This file is used for simulation and bit-stream generation only. It does not affect Synthesis, MAP, or Place And Route (PAR) results.
