Why won't IPexpress connect to the Lattice IP Server? It spins for a while then stops with "Connection Failed" dialog box.

People who have never accessed the Lattice IP Server (via IPexpress) will frequently get a dialog box that says: "Connection Failed! Please use "Internet Settings" in the "Preferences" dialog.

To correct this, go to IPexpress -> Tools -> Preferences. In this window, setup the Internet settings similar to what are in your Internet Explorer or Firefox settings.

To find the settings for Firefox, go to Tools -> Options -> Advanced -> Network -> Connection (Settings button)

To find the settings for Internet Explorer, go to Tools -> Internet Options. Then select the Connection tab, then select the "LAN Settings" tab.
