This board is an optional add-on for the iCE40 UltraPlus Mobile Development Platform (MDP).

It features eight PDM microphones arranged with six in a 67 mm diameter hex pattern, and two near the center.

Use this board to develop microphone aggregation applications using the iCE40 UltraPlus MDP. You can download an example Lattice demo today. This demo aggregates data from 8 PDM microphones and passes it over I2S for use by a processor or DAC (after decoding).

Features

  • Eight PDM Microphones (MP34DB02TR or equivalent)
    • Six in a 67 mm diameter hex pattern
    • Two center right/left
  • For use with the iCE40 UltraPlus MDP
    • Not intended for stand-alone operation
  • Push-button for cycling through demo modes
  • LEDs for power and mode
