Solution:
This describes how to manually update your software by using ispUpdate.
For Lattice Diamond software, the "Update Center" is in the middle of your startup screen and will provide the most recent updates, if available.
To manually check for and install a service patch in ispLEVER:
- Close all ispLEVER tools.
- Start ispUPDATE. *In Windows: Choose Start > Programs > Lattice Semiconductor > ispUPDATE. *In UNIX or Linux: On a command line, enter /ispcpld/bin/iupdate.
- In the dialog box, click Update. The ispUPDATE software goes online to check for service patches. If one is available, the Select ispLEVER Patch Version dialog box opens.
- In the top portion of the dialog box, choose the desired installed version of ispLEVER and a service patch. If the Update button changes to "Register," you have selected an encryption patch which requires registration. See Registering for an Encryption Patch in the help menu.
- Review the service patch notice. To use your regular browser or to print the notice, right-click in the window and choose Open in Web Browser.
- Click Update.The ispUPDATE program begins downloading the service patch and automatically launches the installation program. Downloading may take several minutes. There may be a delay as the files are being installed. This is normal. Do not click Start.
- When the installation is done, in the Update Service Patch dialog box, either:
* Click Start to check for more patches.
* Click Close.
