Yes, as long as the BIT or JED data files are used to program Lattice devices and they are understood by the
ispVM System software. To do the comparison, do the following:
* In
ispLever, select: TOOLS, ISPVM SYSTEM
* In
ispVM, select: ISPTOOLS, ISPVM EDITORS, ISPEDITOR...
* In ispEditor, select: COMMAND, DATA FILES COMPARISON...
* Browse to the locations of the first and second data files you want to compare
* Push the OK button
After the comparison of the two data files is run, the differences between the files will be highlighted directly in the ispEditor window. Differences that have no impact on device programming (such as file creation dates) will not be highlighted. An output log file is also created showing the differences between the files.
Note that the
ispVM software can also be run stand alone and the latest version is available for download from the link:
http://www.latticesemi.com/en/Support/SoftwareArchive.aspx and select the "downloads Archive" tab.
