Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy informs you of the web site privacy practices of Lattice Semiconductor Corporation ("Lattice") and describes the way we collect, use, and disclose your personal data.

I. Registration

In order to perform certain functions on this website, such as access certain documents, contribute to our online forums, make purchases from the on-line store, download software, or request technical support, you must first complete the registration form and select a user name (your email address) and a password. During registration you are also required to provide contact information (such as name and business telephone number). If you choose not to provide the requested information, then you will not be able to perform these various functions. Equally, you should not provide this information if you disagree with the terms of this Privacy Policy.

When you register, you have the ability to opt-in to the receipt of email communications from Lattice. You may also select individual areas of interest relating to the business of the company about which you would like to remain informed (via "web content updates" that let you know when the web site has been updated). You may later modify your registration information and choose not to continue to receive email communications or web content updates.

II. Cookies and data collection

Any time you visit our web site, we place a small text file on your computer known as a "cookie". Setting this cookie allows us to identify your computer on subsequent occasions and obviates the need for you to sign-in on each visit to the site. This cookie also enables us to track which documents you choose to view or download.

If you reject or disable cookies in your browser, you may still use our site, but you will need to sign-in on each visit in order to view certain documents or perform certain functions. Additionally, for technical reasons, it is not possible to place an order via our online store if cookies have been disabled.

Irrespective of your decision to register or accept cookies from our site, we collect aggregate (non-personally identifying) data on site usage via our server's log files. These log files indicate date and time of each visit to our site, the visitor's IP (internet protocol) address, browser and operating system, the URL of the page which referred the visitor to our site (if any) and any files viewed on our site. We use this information, which does not identify individual users, to analyze trends in site usage and to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole. Such aggregate data is shared with Lattice subsidiaries and partners concerned with the marketing effectiveness of our web site.

Please note that all personal and aggregate data collected via, (our Japanese site) and (our Chinese site) are stored on servers located in the USA.

III. Communications from the site
