ORAN (Open Radio Access Network) is a nonproprietary version of the Radio Access Network (RAN) system that allows interoperation between cellular network equipment (Hardware and Software) from different vendors. ORAN is designed to connect massive number of machines, objects, and devices (mMTC), implements multi-Gbps peak data speeds (eMBB), ultra-low latency (URLLC) with more reliability, higher network capacity & increased availability to provide enhanced quality & experience to end users.

Lattice ORAN 1.1 reference design provides ultra-reliable time synchronization and phase alignment solutions, with nano second precision for delivering timing accuracy required for the functioning of 5G/ ORAN networks.
