To resolve the error, you need to have a correct license file, if you are not having a license file get a free license or subscription license. Once you have the license file, provide the correct path to your license file in the LM_LICENSE_FILE environment variable.
Follow these steps (for Windows 7 users):
1) Go to Start Menu.
2) Right click on Computer, and then select Properties.
3) From the Control Panel tab, select Advanced System Settings. The System Properties window opens.
4) On the Advanced tab, select Environment Variables.
5) Edit the LM_LICENSE_FILE variable to provide the correct license path.
For Node-Locked License, provide the complete path to the license file.
For example: C:\lscc\diamond\3.1_x64\License\License.dat;
For Floating License, the path format is - port@hostname. For example, 1717@lister.
Note: A semicolon has to be used to separate the various paths.
