No. Lattice Diamond Design Software installation files does not contain any virus.
In some cases, users with Symantec products will encounter a false positive for Bloodhound.Sonar.9 when running the Windows installer. This is not an actual virus signature, but rather a heuristic which is triggering incorrectly. With default settings, Symantec Endpoint Protection will not allow the DME PoP installation to proceed; the installer will abort with the message Configuration Failed.
Workaround: Open Symantec Endpoint Protection, and click Change Settings on the left. Under Proactive Threat Protection, click Configure Settings, and under Sonar, enable the check box Prompt Before Terminating a Process.
