High-Speed SERDES Briefcase Board

The Lattice High-Speed SERDES Briefcase Board includes a number of features designed to help the user quickly evaluate the performance of Lattice SERDES devices or aid in development of custom designs.

Device Support

You will need the following software to use this board:

  • ispLEVER for design, fitting, place & route of Lattice programmable devices
  • ispVM to download your program to the device
  • FPSC configuration software to use the optional ORCAstra GUI

  • High-Speed SERDES Briefcase Board featuring:
    • ORT82G5 or ORSO82G5 device with 8 x 3.7Gbits/sec accessible SERDES channels.
    • ispGDX2-256 device with 4 accessible SERDES channels and two clocks
    • Total power management with the ispPAC-POWR1208
    • 5 on-board power supplies for 3.3V, 2.5V, 1.8V and 1.5V power busses
    • On-board 156MHz clock source (external clock option available)
    • ORCAstra GUI USB interface for use with Lattice ORCAstra configuration software
    • 24- and 40-inch built-in backplane traces
  • ispDOWNLOAD cable pDS4102-DL2
  • Wall Adapter Power Supply (US Standard)
  • 2 pair of Matched SMA Cables and 1 SMA trigger cable
  • USB Cable for use with ORCAstra GUI
