MachXO3D Development Board

Extensible Prototyping Platform - The MachXO3D Development Board is an extensible prototyping platform that has been engineered to allow system designers to rapidly develop designs using the largest member of the MachXO3D device family, which represents a first in-its-class programmable logic device by embedding an immutable security block which enables a hardware Root-of-Trust (RoT) onto a highly optimized and versatile FPGA platform.

What’s Included - The board comes in 4 x 6 inch form factor and features a USB mini-B connector for power and programming, on-board 128 Mbit SPI FLASH, and multiple header positions supporting Arduino, Aardvark, FX12, Hirose and Raspberry Pi. A USB cable along with a quick start guide are included.

Preloaded Demo – The Board comes with a preloaded demonstration design that highlights use of the embedded MachXO3D oscillator and programmable I/O configured for LED drive.

  • L-ASC10  (Analog Sense and Control) Hardware Management Device  
  • General Purpose Input/Output (GPIO) interface with Arduino and Raspberry Pi boards; USB-B connection for device programming and Inter-Integrated Circuit (I2C) utility
  • 128 Mbit Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) Flash, with Quad read feature
  • 7-Segment Blue LED, 4-position DIP Switch, 4 push buttons and 16 red LEDs
  • Two Hirose FX12-40 header positions (DNI); Aardvark header (DNI)
