MachXO3: Is there a lower power state that the user can maintain when power is first supplied?
The user could delay the device configuration itself by holding LOW either PROGRAMN or the INITN pin when applying a power. However, this cannot tell how much power it would.
consume in this state, because it is dependent on the board conditions, the user must characterize it by themselves.
Note that The PROGRAMN/INITN/DONE pins are not available in the User mode by default, you need to enable these pins first from the Global Preference. To use them in their dedicated functionality mode.
Another way is to allow the device to boot normally, and then once it is in the User mode, put it into the Standby mode by disabling Bandgap, but you should have implemented this function in your design. Please refer to the technote "TN1289" for power management methods.
