PAC-Designer: In PAC Designer software what does NODEx mean in Pin Definitions?
PAC-Designer: NODEx are internal variables or registers and are not output pins. They can also be used to interact between different state machines. To access/rename an available node, keep Sequence and Supervisory Logic (CPLD) window active and choose Pin Definitions from View menu. Pin Definitions window appears. Choose any particular node and double click mouse button, a property window pops up which contains fields like User-defined name and Output type. Mention appropriate data and click OK button. To make changes effective choose Save from File menu.
