Every year, the global embedded technology ecosystem gathers at the Embedded World tradeshow and we are excited to share the latest advanced programmable solutions from Lattice that we announced and showcased this year.

Advancing the Next Generation of Motor Control Solutions

Lattice and ADI collaborated to announce a new intelligent motion control reference platform to accelerate flexible, efficient closed-loop motor control design development. Combining secure, low power Lattice FPGAs and ADI’s robust industrial ethernet connectivity, the platform enables multiprotocol designs with a hardened security engine, providing accurate speed and power control that are integral in smart Industrial automation applications.

Key features of this platform include:

  • Low power, small footprint Lattice FPGAs, including Lattice CertusPro™-NX and Lattice MachXO3D™ with a dedicated hardened security engine with secure unique ID enabling Root of Trust compliance with the European Cyber Resilience Act
  • Flexible, low power ADI industrial ethernet connectivity for multiprotocol designs with precision analog power conversion technology providing accurate speed and power control

Bringing Functional Safety to Automotive and Industrial Applications

Lattice also announced its enhanced partnership with NewTec to leverage each other’s collective expertise to provide innovative and comprehensive functional safety (FuSa) solutions for our Automotive and Industrial customers.

FuSa is fundamental to Automotive and Industrial applications and growing in importance with automation advancements, making it a key decision criterion for every manufacturer. Certified to the latest safety design methodologies, Lattice software design tools enable our FPGAs to provide flexibility to implement and develop FuSa designs in safety-critical applications. Showcasing Cutting-Edge Advanced Programmability

Lattice collaborated with a variety of our ecosystem partners to showcase cutting-edge technology demos covering a wide range of applications for embedded vision, AI, security and functionality safety, and connectivity.
