The Modular FMC Adapter, also referred to as an expansion card, is designed to facilitate communication with additional peripherals for the purpose of expanding functionality or easy customization.
The Modular FMC Adapter is a base board connecting the Lattice FPGA development kits through the FMC connector to up to two transmitter and/or receiver boards. Those boards can be flexibly added depending on the interface needs.
FMC Connector – This board contains standard FMC (FPGA Mezzanine Card) board interface.
Support of Up to Two Different Transmitter and Receiver Boards – The Modular FMC Adapter allows to host DisplayPort Transmitter Board, DisplayPort Receiver Board and Embedded DisplayPort Transmitter Board which can be flexibly added.
Highly Modular and Data Rates Up to 20 Gbps – The board have been designed that the connection between the transmitter, receiver boards to Modular FMC Adapter to support data rates up to 20 Gbps. Additionally, it allows easy plug and play of various video interfaces.
