LA-MachXO Crossover PLD automotive family supports applications that traditionally have been addressed either by high density CPLDs (complex programmable logic devices) or low capacity FPGAs, but with a more comprehensive and cost-effective architecture and technology. The automotive LA-MachXO family includes 256, 640, 1200 and 2280 LUT devices, with user I/O counts ranging from 78 to 271 I/O, and features such as on-chip memory and PLLs in the larger devices.

The LA-ispMACH 4000V/Z CPLD automotive family offers low power and excellent performance and includes three devices with densities ranging from 32 to 128 macrocells and user I/Os ranging from 30 to 96. The LA-ispMACH 4000V/Z CPLDs are a flexible, low cost alternative to ASICs in automotive design. These high-performance families are well suited for the full range of automotive applications including "in-cabin" electronics and telematics (Emergency Calling Systems, Navigation, Collision Avoidance, Adaptive Cruise Control, MP3, DVDs and Satellite Radio) as well as harsher "under-the-hood" applications such as engine and power train control systems management.
