µC/OS-II RTOS from Micriµm
The Real-Time Kernel is a highly portable, ROMable, very scalable, preemptive real-time, multitasking kernel (RTOS) for microprocessors and microcontrollers. µC/OS-II can manage up to 255 tasks and is available as commercial source code for a 45 day evaluation period. After the evaluation period has expired a license must be obtained directly from Micrium.
µITRON RTOS per JSP/TOPPERS
 The TOPPERS (Toyohashi OPen Platform for Embedded Real-time Systems) Project is based on the technical development result of the ITRON RTOS project, aimed to develop base software for use in embedded systems. By releasing quality Open Source Software, it is intended to promote embedded system technology and industry. Also by utilizing developed technology and distributing educational software, it is proposed to cultivate and train embedded system programmers. Commonly known as the JSP Kernel (Just Standard Profile) the port is available from the TOPPERS/JSP web site below.
