Is it possible to use the PowerManager_1220_I2C_Utility.exe in Windows 7? I see a message stating "Error: Kernel Mode Driver is not loaded in memory" when I try to launch it.

It is possible to use the utility in Windows 7, however a workaround is required. The Design Utility works with a driver for the Lattice USB ispDownload cable which is not directly compatible with Windows 7, this is the reason for the error message.

A recommended workaround for the Lattice USB ispDOWNLOAD cable is to use a Windows XP virtual machine inside Windows 7 to run the utility out of PAC-Designer. This can be accomplished by installing Windows XP mode from Microsoft or another virtual machine software which can access the USB ports of the PC.
