Evaluation Boards and Demos for LatticeMico32

Supported Development Boards

Lattice has pre-defined a number of its development boards as platforms within the Mico System Builder Software.  This allows you to rapidly start developing LatticeMico 32 based systems on these boards.  The following boards have been developed:

LatticeMico32 Demonstrations

Lattice develops designs that demonstrate the use of the LatticeMico32 for a variety of system level applications.  The following demonstrations are currently supported.

  • Demo of LatticeMico32 with Tri-Speed Ethernet MAC in Gigabit Operation

This demonstrates the gigabit capability of the Tri-Speed Ethernet MAC IP core on an LatticeECP2 Advanced Board by using a web server in conjunction with the open-source Lightweight IP (lwIP) network stack.   For more information about this demo, please click here.
  • Demo of LatticeMico32 with DDR SDRAM Controller and VGA Monitor

A demo is available for the LatticeMico32 that shows the DDR SDRAM Controller IP core in operation with the SDRAM memory partitioned for both code execution and VGA graphics.   For more information about this demo, please click here.
  • Demo of LatticeMico32 using uClinux with DDR SDRAM Controller and VGA Monitor

This demonstrates a web server running on the LatticeMico32 with an interactive web page that gives the user control of signals on the FPGA board.  Visit the LatticeMico32 uClinux page for the demo download and associated documentation.
