The LatticeECP2M PCI Express x1 / x4 Solutions Board provides a flexible, low-cost platform designed to help the user quickly evaluate the performance of the LatticeECP2M FPGA device family and aid in development of custom designs. Each LatticeECP2M PCI Express x1 / x4 Solutions Board includes the following:

  • LatticeECP2M PCI Express x4 Solutions Board featuring:
    • LFE2M50E-6FN672C FPGA Device
    • x1 and x4 PCI Express Edge Connectors
    • On-board 256 MB DDR2 Memory
    • Logic Analyzer Connector
    • General-Purpose Header
    • On-board Flash configuration memory
    • 16-Segment LED
    • ispVM Connector, Status LEDs, Reset and Program Switches on both sides of the board, dedicated to each of the link widths (x1, x4)
  • ispDOWNLOAD cable for device programming
  • Power Supply

Device Support

You will need the following software to use this board:

  • ispLEVER for design, fitting, place & route of Lattice programmable devices
  • ispVM to download your program to the LatticeECP2M or on-board Flash memory devices

PCI Express IP Demos

Four PCI Express IP demos are available for use with this board, which range from control plane to data plane applications.  Demo/driver source code and project directory sources are also available for rebuilding the demos to a known good starting point, and then transitioning to design exploration.  More information can be found at the LatticeECP2M PCI Express Development Kit page.
