Overview

The exponential rise of electronic content in automobiles has many implications for the system designer. Time-to-market, new standards, flexibility, software investment and cost continue to be issues to be overcome for each new design. In this presentation, Lattice Semiconductor will review these issues and provides practical real-world applications and solutions using Lattice CPLD and FPGA devices. It will cover the Lattice Automotive program, certifications and devices. In addition there will be a look at the Lattice automotive IP solutions for FPGA users.

Kerry Howell is a Sr. Automotive Marketing Specialist for Lattice Semiconductor Corporation. He has 30+ years experience in developing electronics solutions. Certified by Intel Corporation in 1977, Kerry was one of the first distributor field Applications Engineers in the industry. His 22 years of active FAE work was followed by 7 years managing Field Applications Engineers and actively marketing engineering services to customers. In addition, Kerry also has an extensive background in industrial control systems and software.
