LATTICE SELECTS ROCHESTER ELECTRONICS
AS VALUE ADDED DISTRIBUTOR

- Lattice Customers Have New Source for Discontinued Products  -

HILLSBORO, OR -- March 27, 2006 --   Lattice Semiconductor (NASDAQ: LSCC) today announced that it has added Rochester Electronics as an authorized distributor for discontinued Lattice products.  Known as “leaders on the trailing edge of technology,” Rochester will fill orders from customers for products that have been discontinued by Lattice.

Rochester Electronics is a value-added distributor that provides continuing customer service when suppliers discontinue products, which can sometimes create challenges for both the supplier and certain customers.

“Every product and technology has a life cycle,” said Steve Donovan, Lattice corporate vice president of sales.  “Unavoidably, however, the manufacturer’s decision to discontinue a product is sometimes not the best schedule for the customer.  Our partnership with Rochester Electronics will help us expand our discontinued product support capabilities and allow Lattice to better serve our customers.”

Rochester’s founder and CEO Curt Gerrish said, “Our agreement with Lattice means we can now provide a more complete package of discontinued semiconductors.  Our customers can now satisfy most of their requirements with just one call.  Lattice products are a significant addition to our product line.”
