Lattice Semiconductor to Demonstrate Award Winning FPGAs, Mixed-Signal Products at Embedded Systems Conference

-ACE Award Finalist LatticeECP/EC FPGAs, ispClock and ispPAC Power Manager Devices Showcase Lattice's "Bringing The Best Together" Solutions-

HILLSBORO, OR - FEBRUARY 18, 2005 - Lattice Semiconductor Corporation (NASDAQ: LSCC) today announced it will feature its award winning programmable product lineup in Booth 1038 at the Embedded Systems Conference March 8-10 at San Franciscoýs Moscone Center. LatticeECP and LatticeEC FPGAs have already been named ýUltimate Productsý by EE Times and are now finalists for the prestigious CMP-sponsored ACE Award. Latticeýs ispClock and ispPACý Power Manager products have also garnered accolades from multiple publications, including EE Times, Electronic Products and EDN during the past year.

"In 2004, Lattice expanded its programmable logic product portfolio with several significant product announcements,ý said Stan Kopec, Lattice vice president of corporate marketing. ýWhile our new, low-cost LatticeECP and LatticeEC FPGAs understandably generated a great deal of media and customer interest, our mixed-signal products, such as ispClock and ispPAC Power Manager, established new standards of performance, versatility and convenience for our customers in programmable clock generation and power management. Lattice is unique among the leading PLD companies in providing the benefits of programmability to analog and mixed-signal devices as well as to FPGAs and CPLDs. Weýre looking forward to demonstrating the system-level solutions our suite of unique programmable products can provide at the Embedded Systems Conference,ý Kopec concluded.

About LatticeECP and LatticeEC FPGAs

The LatticeECP-DSP and LatticeEC FPGA device families are architected to provide the most optimized feature sets combined with the lowest total solution costs of any FPGAs. The new LatticeECP-DSP products, targeted for high-performance DSP applications, provide up to a 50% performance and 75% logic utilization improvement over other low-cost solutions when implementing common DSP functions. The LatticeEC FPGA product family, targeted for general-purpose FPGA applications, is a precise and targeted response to the marketýs explosive demand for low-cost, architecturally streamlined logic solutions.

About ispClock Devices

With the ispClock product family, Lattice has extended the benefits of integration, in-system programmability and superior performance to clock management. Lattice ispClock devices are the first products that conveniently and accurately solve the entire clock tree design problem with a single chip. The revolutionary ispClock devices provide an unprecedented level of performance and flexibility in support of high-performance clock network designs on electronic circuit boards through programmable frequency, skew, I/O standard and other advanced features.

About ispPAC Power Manager Devices

Lattice ispPAC Power Manager devices provide a standard, off-the-shelf programmable mixed-signal solution for power management that enhances reliability and speeds time-to-market. Analog features such as input comparator thresholds and digital functions such as supply control sequences are programmed into non-volatile E2CMOSý elements on the devices using an IEEE1149.1 boundary scan protocol. A versatile CPLD engine within the devices provides flexible power supply sequencing and control functions. Lattice will be featuring its recently announced, second-generation Precision Power Manager devices.
