Lattice Semiconductor Announces Spice Support For Revolutionary ispPAC Device FamilyEnables user to perform board-level simulation of designs using ispPAC devicesHILLSBORO, OR - NOVEMBER 7, 2000 -Lattice Semiconductor Corporation (NASDAQ: LSCC), the world's largest supplier of in-system programmable (ISP �) products, today announced SPICE support for its revolutionary ISP Programmable Analog Circuit (ispPAC) family of devices. This new capability is now available as a standard feature of the PAC-Designer� design tool, version 1.2.1. PAC-Designer is the sophisticated suite of software design tools for designing, simulating and programming Programmable Analog Circuits from Lattice Semiconductor Corporation. Now the user will be able to export configuration-specific simulation models to PSpice and PSpice-compatible simulators to perform board level simulation. This is in addition to the design-specific amplitude and frequency response simulation built into the PAC-Designer software. "SPICE support for ispPAC devices further reduces system design time for analog design engineers," said Andy Robin, VP of New Venture Business for Lattice. "Now our customers can iteratively define their analog components and simulate their circuits at the board level using SPICE - all in software.
