MachXO2 PLD Family Named Finalist in Elektra Awards Competition

Extremely Small Footprint and Over 100X Power Reduction Highlight Benefits for Low Density PLD Designers

An independent panel of judges has named the Lattice MachXO2 PLD family a finalist in Elektra 2011, the European Electronics Industry Awards competition. The MachXO2 family is nominated in the "Digital Semiconductor Product of the Year" category.

Now in its ninth year and an established annual highpoint of the electronics industry, the Elektra Awards give the industry the opportunity to recognize the achievements of individuals and companies across Europe. The winners will be announced at an Elektra Awards Dinner and Christmas Party, which takes place on Wednesday, December 14 at the Park Plaza, Westminster Bridge in London.

About the Lattice MachXO2 PLD Family

The MachXO2 devices provide designers of low density PLDs an unprecedented mix of low cost, low power and high system integration in a single device. Built on a low power 65-nm process featuring embedded Flash technology, the MachXO2 family delivers a 3X increase in logic density, a 10X increase in embedded memory, more than a 100X reduction in static power to as low as 19uW and up to 30% lower cost compared to the prior generation MachXO PLD family.
