ispLEVER 7.0 Service Pack 1 Adds Full LatticeXP2 Support and More

New support for LatticeXP2-8 and LatticeXP2-30 FPGAs and numerous other productivity enhancements now available.

A valuable update to the ispLEVER 7.0 FPGA design software is now available for all licensed ispLEVER users. Service Pack 1 includes a number of updates to the ispLEVER 7.0 software:

• Complete family support for all members of the LatticeXP2 90nm non-volatile FPGA device family 
• Full release of the Reveal Logic Analyzer, Lattice's second generation logic analysis/hardware debug tool
• Several usability enhancements for a more accurate and user friendly Power Calculator tool 
• A PCI Target peripheral for the LatticeMico32 embedded open source microprocessor 
• New versions of Synplicity’s Synplify synthesis (v8.9L) and Mentor Graphics Precision RTL synthesis (v2007a.8) and ModelSim simulator (v6.2i)

Service Pack 1 can be downloaded from the Lattice website, or via the ispUPDATE tool, included with ispLEVER 7.0. Using ispUPDATE automates the download and installation process. (Please note that due to export regulations, the update to the Synplicity synthesis tools must be downloaded from the Lattice website).

Update for ispLEVER Starter Software

A new version of the ispLEVER Starter software equivalent to ispLEVER 7.0 SP1 is also available separately. This is a new release of the ispLEVER Starter software, not an incremental service pack installation. With this release, the ispLEVER Starter software now includes access to the entire LatticeXP2 FPGA family. ispLEVER Starter software is a full-featured FGPA design tool, providing immediate access to some of Lattice’s most popular FPGA families. The addition of support for the LatticeXP2 FPGA family makes it easy for anyone to take advantage of the latest powerful Lattice silicon.  For a comparison of ispLEVER Starter vs. other ispLEVER configurations, see the selection table on the Lattice website.
