ispMACH 4000ZE Perfect for Low-Power, Space-Constrained Hand-Held ApplicationsIndustry's lowest static power, and standby current as low as 10uA, in ultra-small, space-saving packages.
Lattice’s ispMACH 4000ZE CPLD family is perfect for low-power, high-volume hand-held applications, with typical standby current as low as 10uA. Available in space-saving chip scale Ball Grid Array (csBGA) package options, the ispMACH 4000ZE devices reduce board space by more than 75% compared to traditional TQFP packages, simplifying board routing and reducing total system cost. These devices offer a new Power Guard feature that reduces total system power even further by selectively disabling unused input pins. Available in four logic densities ranging from 32 to 256 macrocells, the ispMACH 4000ZE devices also feature an on-chip user oscillator and timer that can be used for power-up sequencing, keypad scanning and display controller functions.
Product AvailabilityAll packages for the LC4032ZE, LC4064ZE and LC4256ZE devices have been released to production and are shipping in volume. The LC4128ZE has been released to production in the 144 csBGA package only. The 100 and 144 TQFP packages for the LC4128ZE are planned for release in Q408. Software and Programming SupportThe ispMACH 4000ZE product line is supported by Lattice’s ispLEVER Classic design tool, which is downloadable from the Lattice website. Programming support is available through Lattice’s ispVM System software (version 17.3.1 or later), which is also available for download from the Lattice website. Literature ItemsThe ispMACH 4000ZE Data Sheet, technical notes and related literature for the ispMACH 4000ZE family can be found on the Lattice website.
