LatticeXP2 7:1 LVDS Video Reference Design and Demo Kit Now AvailableLearn how high-performance LatticeXP2 FPGAs can be used in low-cost display controller applications for the automotive, consumer, video security/surveillance, and industrial instrumentation markets. In the October 2008 edition of LatticeNEWS, we announced the availability of the 7:1 LVDS (Low Voltage Differential Signaling) Reference Design for the LatticeECP2/M family of SRAM-based FPGAs. This reference design implements a high-speed, low-cost interface between a video interface board and a display board. 7:1 LVDS Reference Design Now for LatticeXP2Lattice is pleased to offer the 7:1 LVDS Reference Design for the award-winning LatticeXP2 FPGA family of non-volatile FPGA devices. LatticeXP2 FPGAs include high-performance I/O capabilities which can implement low-cost display controller applications for the automotive, consumer, video security/surveillance and industrial instrumentation markets.

Demo HardwareLattice also offers a hardware platform to demonstrate the 7:1 LVDS reference design. This consists of two parts: the LatticeXP2 Advanced Evaluation Board (shown below) and a set of interface cards designed for this application. Initially, this kit was offered only for the LatticeECP2/M FPGA family; it is now available for the LatticeXP2 FPGA family as well. This kit will interface with your own video I/O resources.
