Lattice Automotive Offering Expands with 2008 Model Introduction

Lattice has solidified its commitment to the automotive industry with the recent introduction of additional AEC-Q100 qualified products.

Lattice continues to expand its automotive offering with the recent introduction of automotive versions of its popular Power Manager II family. The two new devices are used to provide complete power management solutions through an optimized set of programmable digital and analog functions. The LA-ispPAC-POWR1014 device integrates a 24-macrocell PLD and dual precision voltage monitoring comparators with an accuracy of 0.3%. The LA-ispPAC-POWR1014A device integrates a 10-bit Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC) for voltage measurements and an I²C interface that enables a microcontroller or processor to read the status of all the comparators, inputs as well as outputs.

The Lattice automotive offering now includes the following four product families:

• LA-ispPAC-POWR1014/A Automotive Power Manager II
  General-purpose power-supply monitor and sequence controller
• LA-ispMACH 4000V Automotive Mainstream CPLD
  Industry's lowest standby current, as low as 20µA
• LA-ispMACH 4000Z Automotive Zero-Power CPLD
  3.3/2.5/1.8V power supply options
• LA-MachXO Automotive Crossover PLD
  Combines FPGA flexibility with CPLD performance, instant-on and high pin-to-logic ratio

All Lattice automotive devices are AEC-Q100 qualified and PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) 4th edition documentation is available. Lattice is also a certified TS-16949 supplier as are its foundry and assembly partners.
