Lattice Goes Wireless

With embedded SERDES, high-speed DSP blocks, robust I/O capabilities, small packages and low cost, the LatticeECP2M FPGA family has been a big hit in the wireless base station marketplace. In response to this momentum, Lattice has made several new additions to its wireless portfolio and is launching a one-stop-shop on the Lattice website for wireless solutions, such as:

• A low latency variation CPRI IP core for multi-hop RRH applications
• OBSAI RP3-01 IP core for RRH
• Partnership with Linear Technology to support JESD204 SERDES-based ADC device families
• Partnership with Praesum Communications for Serial RapidIO support
• Partnership with TurboConcept on a new LTE Turbo Decoder
• Digital Up/Down Converters (DUC, DDC) for WiMAX
• Enhanced FIR Filters, Baseband Encoders and Decoders, NCOs, CIC and FFTs
