ispLEVER LogoispLEVER 7.2 Service Pack 2 Available Now

Update includes support for mid-range LatticeECP3 and non-volatile LatticeXP2 FPGA families, enhanced product features and more.

Service Pack 2 for the ispLEVER 7.2 FPGA design tool suite is available now without charge for users with active design tool maintenance contracts. This update expands the breadth of the tool suite’s overall capabilities, and includes important updates for the mid-range LatticeECP3 and non-volatile LatticeXP2 FPGA families.

Service Pack 2 updates values to production characterized silicon for the LatticeECP3-70 and ECP3-95 devices. For example, static timing analysis, power and SSO (simultaneous switching output) will report results that reflect the actual production device’s behavior even more accurately than before. PCS/SERDES calibration settings used for the supported I/O protocols also have been more precisely tuned to provide more robust behavior. The sysDSP block support also has been enhanced to include higher performance modes of primitive blocks targeted at specific applications such as FIR filters, decimators, interpolators, matrix multiplication and video applications.

Service Pack 2 also supports the recently announced industrial temperature qualified, non-volatile LatticeXP2 devices that are available now in low-cost, small-footprint BGA or QFP packaging.
