Q: Is there a Development Kit for the new release of the LatticeECP2M PCI Express IP Core? Which platforms does the Development Kit support?

A: The newly-released LatticeECP2M PCI Express Development Kit is now available for purchase. The Kit includes:

LatticeECP2M50 PCI Express x4 Evaluation Board preloaded with the Demo bitstream. The Demo bitstream allows the board to function as a memory endpoint completer.
PCI Express Development Kit User's Guide to quickly get designers up and running.
LatticeECP2M PCI Express Resource CD. The CD contains a software driver for the Demo GUI, software source code, IP and kit documentation, Demo bitstream, and Demo project directory complete with source code and step-by step instructions for rebuilding the Demo bitstream.

The Development Kit supports the Windows and Linux operating systems. The Resource CD contains an installer for Windows XP and a tar file for Linux support.

Existing owners of the LatticeECP2M50 PCI Express x4 Evaluation Board can download the LatticeECP2M PCI Express Development Kit zip file from the Lattice website.
