Entire 90nm LatticeXP2 FPGA Family Released to Production

All members of the LatticeXP2 family are now shipping in volume.

Lattice has completed the production release of its LatticeXP2 FPGA devices, ranging in density from 5K LUTS to 40K LUTS.

Announced in 2007 and developed using the industry's most advanced non-volatile FPGA technology, a 90nm embedded Flash process, the LatticeXP2 devices provide the “instant-on” and reduced footprint benefits of earlier non-volatile Lattice devices, while also enhancing design security, RAM back-up and live update capabilities.

The LatticeXP2 family of non-volatile FPGAs has received two major industry awards. EDN magazine selected the LatticeXP2 as a 2007 “Hot 100” product, recognizing it as one of the  “best and brightest” products of 2007. The device, along with Lattice's ispLEVER design tools, was more recently recognized by the International Engineering Consortium (IEC) with a DesignVision award.
