Tradeshow Recap: Embedded World Exhibition & Conference 2008International exhibition showcases the latest Lattice products.
The world’s largest exhibition of embedded technologies recently took place in Nuremberg, Germany. For three days in late February, the international embedded community gathered together at the Embedded World Exhibition & Conference to present and discuss the latest innovations in embedded design and technology.

Hundreds of engineers visited Lattice’s booth on the floor of the Embedded World exhibition hall. Of particular interest to designers was the LatticeMico32 soft processor. The LatticeMico32 is a 32-bit Harvard, RISC architecture "soft" microprocessor, available free-of-charge with an open IP core licensing agreement.
Engineers also had an opportunity to see demonstrations of Lattice’s new instant-on Flash-based FPGAs, and low cost FPGAs with embedded 3Gbps SERDES.
This year’s Embedded World exhibition set new records in terms of number of attendees and exhibitors. Over 675 exhibitors and 17,341 trade visitors from around the globe attended the show. Altogether, some 1,250 embedded specialists attended the conferences. The 2008 event once again emphasizes that the Embedded World Exhibition & Conference is the world’s most important event for the embedded community.
