Lattice Semiconductor Corporation Announces Two-For-One Stock Split

HILLSBORO, OR. - August 31, 2000 - Lattice Semiconductor Corporation (NASDAQ: LSCC) today announced that its Board of Directors has approved a two-for-one stock split of its common stock to be effected in the form of a stock dividend of one share of common stock for each share of the Company's outstanding common stock.

The stock dividend will be payable on October 11, 2000 to stockholders of record as of September 20, 2000. A cash payment will be made in lieu of issuing any fractional shares. The stock split will increase the number of equivalent shares outstanding from approximately 61 million to approximately 122 million.
