Lattice Semiconductor Announces Two-For-One Stock Split

HILLSBORO, Ore. - August 11, 1999 -Lattice Semiconductor Corporation (NASDAQ: LSCC) today announced that its Board of Directors has approved a two-for-one split of its common stock to be effected in the form of a stock dividend of one share of common stock for each share of the Company's outstanding common stock.

The stock dividend will be payable on September 16, 1999 to stockholders of record as of August 26, 1999. A cash payment will be made in lieu of issuing any fractional shares. The stock split will increase the number of shares outstanding from approximately 24 million to approximately 48 million.
