Senator Mark Hatfield becomes Special Advisor to Lattice Semiconductor Board of Directors

HILLSBORO, OR - February 3, 2006 - Lattice Semiconductor Corporation (NASDAQ: LSCC) today announced that, after nine years of service, Senator Mark Hatfield has resigned from the Company's Board of Directors. Lattice recognizes with gratitude and appreciation the many years of outstanding service and dedication of Senator Hatfield as a member of the Board, and the vision, integrity, and guidance he has contributed to the Company in that role. Senator Hatfield has agreed to continue his association with Lattice by becoming a Special Advisor to the Board of Directors. In this role, Senator Hatfield will give Lattice's Board and senior management the benefit of his experience and wisdom on a wide variety of business, political, and corporate governance issues.
