Lattice Semiconductor Announces Appointment of Two New Directors

HILLSBORO, OR - December 7, 2005 - Lattice Semiconductor Corporation (NASDAQ: LSCC) today announced the appointment of former Intel executive and semiconductor industry veteran Dr. Gerhard "Gerry" H. Parker and prominent high-technology executive Dr. Balaji Krishnamurthy to its board of directors.

Dr. Krishnamurthy served as Chairman, President and CEO of Planar Systems, a manufacturer of flat-panel display systems, from 1999 until 2005. Prior to Planar, Dr. Krishnamurthy served as Vice President and General Manager for various business units of Tektronix, where his 15-year tenure included positions in engineering, marketing and general management. He was with General Electric prior to joining Tektronix.

Dr. Parker retired from Intel in 2001 as an Executive Vice President, New Business Group. During his tenure at Intel he served as Senior Vice President of the Technology and Manufacturing Group and his responsibilities included management of both worldwide manufacturing and technology development. He joined Intel shortly after its founding in 1969 and spent more than 30 years in the areas of technology development, operations and new business development. He currently serves on the board Applied Materials (NASDAQ: AMAT) and FEI Company (NASDAQ: FEIC), and on the board of trustees for the UC Davis Foundation
