Lattice Semiconductor and Avnet Announce Expanded Franchise Agreement for North America and Europe

HILLSBORO, Ore. - February 10, 2000 - Lattice Semiconductor (NASDAQ: LSCC), and Avnet, Inc. (NYSE:AVT) today announced an expanded franchise agreement by which Avnet Electronics Marketing will distribute Lattice Semiconductor's full line of programmable logic devices (PLDs), including the world's leading in-system programmable logic ispLSI® and ispMACHTM products. Also included are in-system programmable analog circuits (ispPACTM) and design tools supporting all product families throughout North America and Europe. Avnet becomes the first distributor to carry the Lattice Semiconductor and recently acquired Vantis Corporation's products throughout North America and Europe.
