Biographies

Stephen A. Skaggs joined Lattice in 1992 and was elected President in 2003 and CEO in August 2005. During his tenure at Lattice he has also served as Chief Financial Officer and Director, Corporate Development. Prior to joining Lattice, Mr. Skaggs was employed by Bain & Company, a leading international management consulting firm. He holds an MBA, with distinction, from Harvard University and a BS Chemical Engineering, with high honors, from the University of California at Berkeley.

Jan Johannessen rejoined Lattice in October 2001 as Vice President, Investments, and was elected Corporate Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in October 2003 and Senior Vice President in November 2005. He originally joined Lattice in 1983 and served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer between 1987 and 1993. From 1993 to 2001 he worked as an independent venture capitalist.

Byron Milstead joined Lattice in May 2008 as Corporate Vice President, General Counsel, and Secretary. Prior to joining Lattice, Mr. Milstead was senior vice president and general counsel of Credence Systems Corporation, and was previously a partner with Ater Wynne LLC and with Bogle & Gates PLLC.

Russ Almand joined Lattice in 1998 as Director of Distribution. Mr. Almand has a BSEE and forty years of sales and sales management experience, including senior sales positions at AMD, AMCC, Hallmark, IMP, and Lattice.

Randy D. Baker rejoined Lattice in January 1987 as Director of Manufacturing. He was elected Vice President of Manufacturing in 1997, Vice President and General Manager Lattice Oregon in 2002, and Corporate Vice President of Oregon Operations in November 2005. Mr. Baker previously served as Manufacturing Manager for Lattice from April 1985 to June 1986. From 1981 until joining Lattice, he was employed by Intel Corporation in various management positions.

Christopher M. Fanning joined Lattice in 1997 and was promoted to Corporate Vice President, Enterprise Solutions in 2007 and currently manages Lattice’s software, intellectual property, and technical support businesses. He has also served as Vice President of Strategic Planning where he focused on Sales, Marketing, and M&A related matters. He holds an AB and MS in Computer Science from Boston College and Worcester Polytechnic Institute, respectively, and an MBA from The University of Chicago’s Graduate School of Business. Prior to joining Lattice, Mr. Fanning was employed at The Boston Consulting Group, a leading international management consulting firm.

Michael J. Gariepy joined Lattice in 1999 as Director of Quality Assurance through the Vantis acquisition. He was promoted to his current position of Vice President, Reliability and Quality Assurance, in August 2006. Prior to joining Lattice, Mr. Gariepy was Director of Quality Assurance at Vantis and Product Development Manager with Advanced Micro Devices.

Stanley Kopec joined Lattice in 1992 as Director of Marketing. In 1998, he was elected Vice President, Corporate Marketing, and later was elected Corporate Vice President, Marketing in November 2005. Mr. Kopec has worked in the programmable logic industry since 1985.

David L. Rutledge joined then start-up Lattice Semiconductor in 1983 as its 31^st employee after working for Harris Semiconductor in the late 70’s. He has over twenty years of programmable logic development experience. Mr. Rutledge pioneered the concept of In-System Programmability (ISP) and developed the world’s first ISP PLD using Electrically Erasable CMOS (E² CMOS) technology. He holds a BSEE and MSEE from Purdue University.

Patrick S. Jones joined our Board of Directors in January 2005. Mr. Jones previously served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Gemplus SA, Vice President Finance, Corporate Controller for Intel Corporation and Chief Financial Officer of LSI Logic.

David E. Coreson joined our Board of Directors in January 2005. Mr. Coreson is a former Senior Vice President of Tektronix, Inc.

Daniel S. Hauer has been a member of our board of directors since 1987. Mr. Hauer is the former Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Epson Electronics America.

Balaji Krishnamurthy joined our Board of Directors in December 2005. Mr. Krishnamurthy previously served as Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Planar Systems, Inc.

W. Richard Marz joined our Board of Directors in December 2007. Mr. Marz previously served as LSI's Executive Vice President of Communications and ASIC Technology. Mr. Marz is the President of MMW Group, a technology consulting firm.

Gerhard H. Parker joined our Board of Directors in December 2005. Mr. Parker previously served as Executive Vice President of Intel Corporation.
