IEC61508 with FPGA Functional Safety Design Flow

Working with the TUV Rheinland Group, Lattice has qualified Diamond Software 2.1 for safety designs according to IEC61508 up to Safety Integrity Level 3 (SIL3). This gives a safety project team the advantage to use this tool together with all related documents and safety manuals without extra validation activities, saving the cost and time associated with the project and simplifying the decision to use Lattice FPGAs for safety applications.
